Our new professional re-gripping station arrivedthis week, making it easier than ever to getyour golf clubs re-gripped. From just £6 a clubwe can fit new grips to your set in store whileyou wait in the Bistro or on the Range. It takesjust 15 minutes…
How Often Should You Get Your ClubsRe-gripped?
Asa rule of thumb, you should re-grip once everyyear or every 40 rounds.
Regardless of how often you play, ozone, heat, dirt and oils are constantly at work breakingdown the materials that make up your grips.
Granted, frequent play and personal preferencemay dictate re-gripping sooner, but with normaluse there's enough degradation of the materialafter a year to warrant fresh grips. Keep inmind that grips lose a significant amount oftheir original feel long before they become hardand slick. Because it happens slowly over time, most golfers fail to notice it. That's importantto remember because just a tiny, imperceptibleslip at contact will be magnified to many yardsby the time the ball reaches its target. Manypeople find that getting in the routine ofre-gripping every Spring as the golf season"officially" begins is the easiest way toremember.
