Happy Birthday Gary!

It would be wrong if we didn’t start this newsletter off by saying a big Happy Birthday to our one and only Gary Booth!

Gary turned 21 again on the 30th August! We hope you had a lovely day and enjoyed the evening shift.

Junior competition is this Saturday!

Our regular junior competition is taking place at Avington Park Golf Course this weekend.

On Saturday 2nd September, our juniors will be setting off with just three clubs and a putter to tackle the course.

We wish you all the best and will keep our fingers crossed for the weather!

Junior Passport

You may have noticed that this week’s newsletter has a bit of a junior theme. We are very sad that the summer holidays are coming to an end so we have a special treat for all our juniors! The Junior Passport Scheme begins again next week!

On Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30-5:30pm or from 7-8pm we will hold junior group coaching sessions to work on all aspects of the game. This scheme is endorsed by the PGA and is designed to get junior golfers ready to become members of a club. The course runs for 9 weeks and costs just £75.

Now one for the adults!

One more reminder that Complete Golfer starts again next week. This course is for beginners who are looking to be able to play on the course within a month. Over the month, you will have access to 21 hours of coaching and can attend as many or as few as you like.

We will cover all aspects of the game from general swing techniques, and on our final session, we will go to Avington Park to practice on course. The cost of all this amazing coaching is just £80! Coaching starts on Monday 4th.
