If the sole of your putter isn’t flat on the ground and is sitting with the toe in the air, it’s highly likely that your swing path will be wrong, and you will pull the ball too far left or push it too far right. Why isn’t your putter flat? It could be that you’re using the wrong length putter and as a result, standing too far away from the ball with your hands too low on the grip. A few tips to correct the problem are … 1. Check that your putter is the correct length for your height
2. Check that you’re standing close enough and over the ball (but not so much that you’re crouching over it)
