Two New Programmes...

Keep on chipping away

There is always more than one way to play a shot. Take the chip below as an example, which could be played with several different clubs, each of which requires you to land the ball in a slightly different place.

Pick your landing zone

The higher lofted the club you choose to use, the closer to the pin you can afford to land the ball. This is because it'll impart more backspin on the ball than a lower lofted club, so will stop quicker if struck correctly.

Some of you may see this as an advantage, whereas others might prefer using an 8-iron as it behaves more like a putt and has more room for error. Whatever your choice, we're here to help make sure you execute the shot correctly.

Who had a pair of these?

I'm sure the shoes below will make a lot of you smile. It's been a long time since golf shoes looked like the first image and it's safe to say that comfort, style and traction have all come a long way since then - even if some of us think the overlapping tongues looked great!

Old style shoes

It wasn't just the daring uppers and striking tongue that defined golf shoes from yesteryear; flip the shoes upside down and the hard leather outsole featured single metal spikes that resembled weapons more so than traction pods.

Modern golf shoes

Spotlight | TaylorMade P790 irons

When TaylorMade launched its original P790 irons back in 2017, it's safe to say they went down a storm with golfers across the country.
