Academy news

Doors open at 9am on Wednesday, 2 December...

The Academy and The Kitchen @ WGA are ready and excited to welcome you back!

Hand sanitiser is available on arrival, and masks must be worn inside the building at all times except when seated to eat and drink. Please maintain social distancing and use our one-way system.

The Driving Range...

The bays on the driving range can be used by up to 4 people per bay who may be from separate households - a maximum of 120 balls per person.

Toptracer Bays...

To book a private Toptracer bay for your return, call us or click to select your date, time and preferred bay. To allow for changeover and cleaning between customers, each booking is for 55 minutes, and this includes unlimited balls. Private bays can be used by up to 6 people who may be from separate households.

The Golf Shop...

The Golf Shop will be open for all your equipment needs or gifts - a new iron or driver, gloves, tees, practice aids, junior golf sets, or new grips. Christmas gift vouchers are also available in-store or online - click here.

Coaching and Custom Fittings...

Our PGA Pro diaries are open, and you can book your 1-2-1 lessons online via ProAgenda or just give us a call and we can do it for you.

Our PGA team is also ready to take custom fitting appointments. If you're unsure how these work and which clubs you need to be fitted for, our coaches are always happy to explain the process and advise you before you book.

Group lessons for ladies and seniors will resume as normal from Friday 4th December.

Our junior programmes will now resume in January and we will be in touch with our junior parents shortly.

The Kitchen @ Winchester Golf Academy...

The Kitchen @ WGA is back to usual opening hours 9am - 9pm weekdays and 9am - 6pm weekends.

You can order takeaway, or if you would like to sit in, it's table service only, so please wait on arrival and staff will greet and seat you. Our one-way system will be in place, so enter through the main Academy doors and exit through the doors closest to the till.

Seated tables inside are for up to 6 people who must all be from the same household or bubble. Outside tables can be a mixed group of up to 6 people.

There will be QR codes in each bay for golfers to order food and drink and we would appreciate it if these are used as much as possible to minimise cross traffic.

Alcohol can only be served to Kitchen guests with a main meal. Alcohol can be served to golfers as takeaway (sealed) but you must use the app to order it.
